With races and events being cancelled all over the world many runners including myself are feeling uncertain, disappointed and unsure of where to go to from here.
After months of waking up sore and dragging yourself out of bed, pushing your body through strength sessions, making daily sacrifices and not to mention the stop to your future event travel arrangements you had in place…there is every reason to feel distraught and unmotivated!
And it’s ok to feel this way!
But now we must remain positive and focus our attention and energy on what we CAN control!
Remember your journey and why you started. By signing up for your event all those months ago and setting yourself the challenge has made you who you are today. Be proud of the work you have put in to get you to where you are and use it!
